THETA WAVE CYCLES
The Seven-Year Cycles of Consciousness and Creation
From birth until around the age of seven, children predominantly exist in a theta brainwave state. This is a state of deep imagination, receptivity, and subconscious programming. In this phase, they do not operate from logic but instead absorb everything around them without question, like a sponge. This suggests that children, in their early years, are in a state of pure creation—deeply connected to the collective consciousness, much like being in a state of hypnosis. It is only when they transition into alpha and beta states that their conscious mind forms a solid sense of individual identity, marking the soul’s full descent into the physical body.
This transition aligns with the concept of the “fallen angel,” where consciousness moves from a unified, spiritual oneness into a physical, dualistic reality. The purpose of this descent is to learn, master the physical world, and ultimately rise again—mirroring the cycles of spiritual awakening, death, and rebirth seen in religious and esoteric traditions.
The number seven holds deep symbolic significance across many traditions. It represents completion, harmony, and divine cycles. The seven classical planets—the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn—each govern different aspects of existence and create cyclical patterns of transformation as they move through aspects with the Sun. Every seven years, these planetary influences interact with the Sun in key ways, marking periods of challenge, realization, and renewal.
Much like how every seven years our cells regenerate, we experience the opportunity for a new body, mind, and perspective, depending on our choices, thoughts, and experiences. Each cycle serves as a judgment point, a reflection of what we have created in the preceding years, and an opportunity to either evolve or repeat certain patterns. The fruits of past experiences become the seeds for the next cycle.
This aligns with ancient wisdom that speaks of transmutation and spiritual evolution. The synthesis of spirit and matter (represented by the 6 preceding years) culminates in the seventh year, where the past is harvested, and the foundation for a new cycle is laid. This mirrors the idea of the seed falling to the ground, decaying momentarily, and then sprouting anew in divine timing, carrying all the wisdom from previous cycles.
Even on a physical level, laminin—the protein responsible for holding our cells together—is shaped like a cross, an uncanny reflection of the idea that the divine structure is imprinted within us. Just as Jesus died on the cross and rose again, we undergo cycles of descent and ascension, physically, mentally, and spiritually. The cross represents the unity of physical and spiritual, where the horizontal line is the physical, and the vertical line is the spiritual.
When we recognize this pattern, we begin to see life as a series of sacred opportunities for growth and mastery. By maintaining the perspective of a child—pure, curious, and free of learned hate or bias—we remain in touch with the essence of creation. We fall, we learn, we rise, and we create anew, continuously moving toward greater awareness and harmony within ourselves and the universe.
